PRIVATE SCHOOLS
Private schools offer full-time, campus-based education led by professional teachers, often with a defined academic philosophy or faith-based approach. They provide structured schedules, extracurriculars, and a traditional classroom experience.
SPECIAL PURPOSE SCHOOLS
Special purpose schools serve students with unique learning profiles, such as dyslexia, ADHD, or autism, offering specialized instruction, therapies, and small class sizes. Their programs are tailored to help each student thrive academically and emotionally.
HYBRIDS & PODS
Students learn part-time on campus and part-time at home. Hybrids and pods come in a variety of sizes and offer varied structures in terms of programming, curriculum, schedules, and focus.
ACADEMIC SERVICES
Academic services provide individualized instruction and targeted support to help each student learn at their own pace. These services may include personalized teaching, small-group or one-on-one remediation, enrichment opportunities, and ongoing progress monitoring to ensure every learner builds confidence and mastery in core skills.
SUPPORT SERVICES
Support services address the whole child by removing barriers to learning and promoting well-being. They can include counseling, speech or occupational therapy, learning accommodations, social-emotional support, and family resources that help students succeed beyond academics.
ENRICHMENT CLASSES
Enrichment classes are designed to expand learning beyond the core curriculum, giving students opportunities to explore new skills, interests, and passions. These classes can include arts, music, theater, coding, robotics, foreign languages, sports, and other hands-on or creative experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, and well-rounded development.
Georgia-based homeschool learning programs and alternative education models (co-ops, hybrid, microschools, etc.) are protected by SB246, the Learning pod Protection Act.
